Dr. Greg Lang

Dentist/Owner

Dr. Greg Lang earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York. After graduation, he accepted a one-year research position with the Food and Drug Administration in Washington, D.C., where he further strengthened his foundation in science and healthcare. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2016—where he also met his wife and dental teammate, Dr. Jess.

Following dental school, Dr. Greg and Dr. Jess pursued advanced training through an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital in Sitka, Alaska. This residency not only expanded their clinical skill set and broadened their scope of practice, but also gave them the unforgettable experience of living and exploring in Southeast Alaska.

Dr. Greg is passionate about practicing dentistry in an era where technology continually elevates patient care. He is confident that his education and ongoing training allow him to deliver exceptional, modern care supported by the latest advancements in the field. In 2024, he continued to pursue higher education and became an Associate Fellow in Dental Implantology through the American Academy of Implant Dentistry—an achievement requiring over 300 hours of continuing education. He loves offering implant dentistry as part of the comprehensive services at Lang Dental, allowing patients to receive high-quality care all under one roof.

For Dr. Greg, returning home to serve the very community in which he grew up is truly a dream come true.

Outside the office, Dr. Greg is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and spending time on the water. On windy days, you may find him and his dad, Dr. Gary Lang, kitesurfing. During their time in Alaska, Dr. Greg and Dr. Jess hiked every published trail in the Sitka area—including the 14-mile trek up the dormant Mount Edgecumbe volcano. These days, their adventures include exploring local trails with their daughter, Abilene, and their two Goldendoodles, Piper and Cub.

Energetic, adventurous, and fun-spirited, Dr. Greg brings his passion for both dentistry and life into everything he does.

Dr. Jessica Lang

Dentist/Owner

Dr. Jessica Lang was born and raised in the small town of Amherst, Virginia—a true example of southern hospitality. If you listen closely, you might even hear her sweet southern drawl. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Sweet Briar College, graduating Cum Laude. During her time at Sweet Briar, she demonstrated an early passion for caring for others by volunteering as an EMT with the local rescue squad.

Dr. Jess went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2016. She will gladly tell you the story of how she and her husband—now dental partner—Dr. Greg Lang first met on the very first day of dental school.

After VCU, she pursued a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to advance her training through an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital in Sitka, Alaska. While practicing in Sitka, Dr. Jess and Dr. Greg gained extensive experience performing complex procedures and caring for a wide variety of patients. Though they both cherish their time in Alaska, they are grateful to be back in Rochester, NY, surrounded by family and friends.

Dr. Jess is committed to providing dentistry in a gentle, comforting, and compassionate environment. She has a strong passion for airway-focused dentistry and has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in airway and sleep dentistry. She offers a unique opportunity for patients with mild to moderate sleep apnea to be treated using oral sleep appliance therapy. She also loves caring for children and incorporating airway-focused principles into pediatric dentistry as well.

One of Dr. Jess’s favorite aspects of general dentistry is the ability to form lifelong relationships with her patients—an approach that translates into thoughtful, personalized, and comforting care.

Outside the office, Dr. Jess enjoys anything outdoors. She is an avid runner, hiker, and skier, and she also loves cooking and baking for her family. Dr. Jess and Dr. Greg welcomed their daughter, Abilene, in May 2019, and their family also includes two beloved Goldendoodles, Piper and Cub.
